Singer was born on 26 November 1986 in Santa Monica California. Her father Vincenzo Barba is the mother of Valerie Barba. The family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. After moving to New Jersey, she finished her studies at Red Bank Catholic High School. She continued her education at Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. Her first violin lessons began at the age four, and was referred to as the Violin Girl. It was because of her talent that she went under the title Violin Girl. Also, she was a violin teacher for the youngsters in the area. At the age of 19, she performed Free 1976 American Idol in the 6th season. She was however eliminated from the show after she finished 16th. There were many songs she performed like the 2009's "The The Christmas Carol" as well as 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba became famous as an American after she was a contestant in American Idol's sixth season.
