Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the combat sports. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used the superior skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her fight via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for the performance of the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
