It was a combination of pop and reggaeton that not only drew attention to Latin Music, but as well reggaeton. Billboard's Top 100 included four mostly Spanish songs from 2016 and two songs in 2015. Despacito's popularity Despacito was at its highest in 2017. In 2020 the year 2020, 41 mainly Spanish songs will make the Top 100. Justin Bieber remixed Despacito 2017 in a bilingual version. Then, various artists collaborated with reggaeton superstars like Drake as well as Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma with Medellin 2019. Certain reggaeton performers have criticized the shift to popular music by 2020. But a newly formed group called Rauw Alejandro was determined to keep the growth and evolution of reggaeton. He incorporated electronic dance styles as well as other styles into his music.
